Partypoker upgrades Spanish software in preparation for shared liquidity launch. Partypoker players will now experience a significantly enhanced poker client when they next login to the partypoker software, following a material upgrade ahead of the shared liquidity launch. The upgrade brings the .es poker client much closer to the current partypoker.com software and includes the new darker lobby and table theme and the ability to view full screen lobby.
Changes have also been made to improve the ecology for our Spanish players. This includes the global wait list option to allow online poker players to be seated as quickly as possible and join the poker action at the tables. If a certain table is full, online poker players will automatically be redirected to another identical poker table that has a seat available. If no seats are open, poker players will be added to the new global wait list.
Further Partypoker updates are:
- Player alias masking for cash games prior to posting first blind
- Masking player aliases in SnGs prior to game start
- Random seating on cash games
- Universal sit out:
- § Sit out one cash game, sit out all, else be removed
- § If sitting out at a cash game, screen names will be masked again
The new shared liquidity pool on partypoker will launch shortly for .es and .fr players. Over the summer, further software improvements for both the Spanish and French clients will be released.
Managing Director of partypoker Tom Waters said: “An upgrade to our Spanish online poker client is long overdue and we have been working hard to give our Spanish players the same experience that our dotcom players receive. We have been able to close a number of gaps and, while we are not quite complete, the improvement in poker game play experience will be significant. Further enhancements to the .es software will follow in the coming months as we continue to improve our product and align the player experience across all markets.”
The newest partypoker ambassador and representative in the eu market ElkY commented: “I am extremely enthusiastic about joining partypoker to actively support their efforts to bring back the ‘Poker First’ mentality, live and online. Our goal is to provide players and fans with an experience they deserve worldwide. partypoker will be aiming to bring their ambition, expertise and successful model to the .eu market with some big announcements coming soon.”
